It’s time for the 2010 Vans Bus Tour! The bus, pros, products, and good times will be making their stop at our Dallas store on TuesdayMarch 16th. The last couple years we have had appearances from Steve Caballero and Tony Alva so don’t miss another rad year of good times
As always there will be tons of giveaways, but if you wear your index tee or bring your index deck you’ll get entered into a raffle to win even more free stuff! Bring both and your chances double up!
First off, we would like to thank everyone that came out to show some love for the event. We hope that you all had a really good time. I know we did! Thank you for making the 2nd D-Town Throwdown an awesome one!!!
Alright, I forgot to bring my camera for the event. I know, boooo on my part. Also, it was hard to keep up with who all did what because I didn’t have a note pad and there was a lot of skating going on.
so here’s a quick recap of the event:
4th- Sean Greene. The defending champ pulled a b/s 360 down the stairs and pyramid. He also b/s 180 nosegrind down the rail
3rd- Michael Buehler. This dude killed it in a video called Corridor of Shame. He is very impressive in person pulling switch b/s lipslide and switch b/s 5-0 down the rail.
2nd- Kechaud Johnson. He’s a nice dude with sick tricks. Always impressive in person. He did a huge b/s 360 over the pyramid and kickflip b/s crooked grind on the rail.
1st- David Sauceda. A really smooth skateboarder for sure. Definitley killed it by doing a ghetto bird( hardflip b/s 180) down the stairs, on his last attempt!!!
