The event is a FREE adaptive skateboarding clinic that begins at 10 a.m. that will also feature Aaron Fotheringham doing his famous backflip in a wheelchair! Whether you would like to skate or spectate, all are welcome to join the fun for this amazing cause.

After watching index team rider Kennedy Cantrell shred the streets of Dallas in Slap’s “One in a Million” and “Allergic to Awesome”, Jake Johnson and the Map Masquerade Geotour have chosen Dallas as one of the six undisclosed cities on their secret tour route!
With 10 skaters, 2 vehicles, a filmer, a photographer, and a plethora of free product, the grass-roots-tour’s mission is to spread quality skateboarding to the people, from the ground up.
As they stop in each city, the crew will stash product at the local spots they skate. Using Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, clues will be dropped as to where the treasure of free product is hidden.
Track the progress of the tour by checking out their website, www.asenseofdirection.org, or by following their @mapmasquerade Instagram. Here’s your chance to find some really awesome product by great companies stashed around The Metroplex. Who knows… you might even end up bumping into Jake Johnson, Jimmy Lannon, Yonnie Cruz, Austin Kanfoush, Max Van Arnem, Mark Suciu, Luke Malaney, Al Davis, Nick Panza, and Drew Windon as they shred DFW!
With nearly seven years in the making, we couldn’t be more excited to have you join us for the premiere of the first ever index video this Sunday, February 19th.
Not only will the premiere be FREE, but you’ll also have a chance at winning some “Awesome” prizes from Vans and Matix.
The event kicks off tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at Mockingbird Station’s Angelika Film Center so come out, have fun with good friends, and support Texas skateboarding!
Here are a few tips for attending the premiere…
FREE tickets for the premiere will be distributed on location, prior to the showing. We have the largest auditorium in the theater, but there is a good chance it will be a full house. In the event that everyone cannot be seated for the 7:30 showing, we have scheduled a second, tentative show at approximately 9:00pm. We recommend arriving early to secure your seat.
