This FREE event will be taking place on the 1500 block of West Magnolia Ave. from 12pm-4pm. Come out and enjoy the locally made ramps, tunes by Deejay Databass, and artwork by the Piranha Bear Collective. All in all, this is a great opportunity to see good friends, make new friends, and witness the push for skateboarding in Fort Worth!

Dallas Video Fest/Shredfest
Thursday, September 22nd, 2011The Dallas Video Festival is one of the longest running video-based festivals in the country. This years festival is from September 21-25 at the Angelika Theatre and The Texas Theatre in Dallas.
This year, the festival includes a screening of skate videos called Shredfest. The screening will be held at the Angelika Theatre (Mockingbird location) on Sunday, September 25th at 4:00pm. Come check out some highlights from Girl Skateboard’s Yeah Right and Ty Evan’s Twins on the big screen, along with a few other rad independent skate films.

KIXPO 2011 Sneaker and Streetwear Expo
Friday, July 1st, 2011DFW’s own sneaker and streetwear expo will be kicking off it’s 5th year on July 2nd from 4pm-10pm at the Cowboys Stadium. With only a $15 admission and FREE parking and FREE admission for kids 5 and under, you will definitely want to make sure you head out for the best Kixpo yet!
This year’s Kixpo will be host to live musical performances, one time only pop up shops, raffles/prize giveaways, rare sneaker collections, a 4-on-4 basketball tournament, and a self guided tour of the state-of-the-art Cowboys Stadium!

In honor of Go Skateboarding Day, our friends at The Pier are letting everyone skate for FREE! If you’ve had a chance to skate The Pier, it’s probably your favorite park ever.
